Sadly, so many celebrities who do have thyroid problems are still somewhat reluctant to speak about it in detail, or embrace it as a cause, likely because they don’t want to call attention to the fact that they have a condition that often causes weight gain, hair loss, or exhaustion. It’s a celebrity’s worst nightmare in many ways. However, seeing celebrities like Gena Lee Nolin and Brooke Burke-Charvet publicly acknowledge their disease gives hope to millions of thyroid patients.
